About the founder

Michiel Mechelmans founded The Data Forest in early 2022 with a clear mission: to prove that businesses should not exist solely to make a profit, but can also be a powerful tool for positive change.

With a background in Finance and BI, his passion grew for data visualization and making complex information accessible to help companies make better decisions. That passion formed the foundation of The Data Forest: a place where technical expertise and social commitment come together.
