We’re looking for someone who
- Holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent experience
- Has 5+ years hands-on experience in data warehousing, data modeling and business intelligence
- Is proficient with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker…)
- Has ETL tool knowledge (SQL-based, DBT, SSIS, Airflow,…)
- Has experience in modern dataplatforms (MS Azure, MS Fabric, Databricks, Google Cloud, …)
- Has deep database knowledge (SQL, Snowflake, BigQuery…)
- Excels at data storytelling and visualization
- Can build data models following Kimball methodology
- Communicates fluently in English and Dutch
- Brings a driven mindset and a passion for creating a sustainable future
Your day-to-day includes
- Design and implement data warehouses: from conceptual modeling to production-ready environments
- Model data smartly: develop star schemas, snowflake schemas, and normalized models
- Advise on BI architecture: guide on the optimal platforms and tools
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines: ensure reliable, scalable, and clean data flows
- Design intuitive dashboards & reports: translate data into actionable stories
- Communicate insights effectively: share findings with both technical and business stakeholders
